John describes his motivation to help families in need. SavingTeens is a volunteer led organization entering it’s tenth year. The organization has now grown to helping 4-5 families per year with scholarships for wilderness programs and therapeutic boarding schools.
SavingTeens is looking forward to seeing industry leaders at the NATSAP Conference in February in Nashville. John shares his story and his passion in this interview.

Lisa Sinsheimer MD announces the first recipient of The Bratter Scholarship. She explained The Bratter Scholarship was a financial gift from theJohn Dewey Academy in Massachusetts to SavingTeens in Crisis Collaborative (STICC or SavingTeens). The Bratter Scholarship is a subset of SavingTeens focused on helping those students with good potential for quality college work, but whose parents do not have the finances to pay the tuition. Therapeutic Boarding Schools that qualify are those that provide quality college prep academics along with quality professional counseling and support and most of their graduates attend four year colleges.
