SavingTeens Announces Organization Changes

February 13, 2017-SavingTeens in Crisis Collaborative (SavingTeens) announced organization changes.

As previously shared, Kelly Brown became the new Executive Director effective January 27th. Effective February 1st, Les Mann was elected Interim President and Chairman, succeeding John Reuben.

John founded SavingTeens and officially incorporated it as a nonprofit in 2004.  Over the past 13 years, SavingTeens has successfully collaborated with numerous education consultants and therapeutic programs and schools to assist teens in crisis.  John’s vision and commitment has enabled SavingTeens to grow and thrive.  We are grateful for his service as President and value his commitment to continue to serve as a board member and ambassador of SavingTeens.

Subsequent to John’s decision to step down, the board unanimously voted Les Mann as Interim President and Chairman.  Les has been a member of the board of directors and Communications Chair since 2009.  Grant Leibersberger, MEd, MBA, board member since 2004, will assume Les’ role as Communications Chair.

“All of us at SavingTeens appreciate John’s service as President and Chairman ever since his founding the organization in 2004. It is a distinct privilege to succeed him as Interim President and Chairman”, stated Les. “SavingTeens has grown over the years, and we all look forward to helping even more families in the future”, he concluded.
